1st Annual Bruce Rossmeyer's Harley Davidson Bike Rally 9.11.10



       The 1st Annual Bruce Rossmeyer's Harley-Davidson Bike
     Rally will take place on Saturday, September 11th at City
     Hall Plaza from 11a to 6p. $60 per irder, $45 per passenger.
     There will be free BBQ, dozens of unique vendors, live
     entertainment, and a merchandise display courtesy of Bruce
     Rossmeyer's Boston Harley Davidson. A generous gift from
                                           the net proceeds will be given to the Wounded Warrior Project
                                           and the 911 Police Aid Foundation. Additionally, 100% of all
                                           event day donations will benefit the Wounded Warriors Project.

5th Annual Steven J. Vertuccio Memorial Ride for Cystic Fibrosis 9.11.10



       Help raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Center at Children's
     Hospital Boston and ride in the 5th Annual Steven J. Vertuccio
     Memorial Ride on Saturday, September 11th. Registration
     begins at 9a at Pro-Fitness Plus in Billerica. Cost is $25 per
     rider, $15 per passenger. The ride departs at 10a to visit Steve
     at Woodlawn Cemetery and ends at the Tewksbury Elks. BBQ
     begins at 1p at the Tewksbury Elks, and includes live music,

Guns and Hoses 911 Memorial Ride 9.11.10



       Join the Enforcers MC New Hampshire and Fire & Iron
     Station 28 of Boston for the Guns and Hoses 911 Memorial
     Ride on Saturday, September 11th. The ride starts at the
     Hudson VFW at 15 Bockes Rd in Hudson, NH and goes to
     the Upper Deck at Salisbury Beach, MA. Registration begins
     at 8:30a and kickstands go up at 10:30a. Register online at

     passenger. You can also register the day of the ride, $25
                                           per rider, $40 for a rider and passenger. All proceeds will be
                                           donated to Homes For Our Troops.

Tantasqua Pop Warner Motorcycle Run 4 Kids 9.11.10



       Help raise money for the Tantasqua Pop Warner Football
     and Cheer as well as the UMass Walk to Cure Cancer and
     ride in the 1st Annual Tantasqua Pop Warner Motorcycle
     Run 4 Kids. The ride will take place on Saturday, September
     11th. Registration begins at 9a at Chooch's in North
     Brookfield, and leaves at 11a. riders are $20, passengers
     and non-riders are $10, kids are free. Enjoy DJ, 50/50 raffle,

4th Annual Brandon's Run 9.18.10



       The 4th Annual Brandon's Run will be held on Saturday,
     September 18th. Registration begins at 9a at the Walmart
     parking lot at 295 Plymouth St in Halifax, MA. The ride leaves
     at 10:30a for a 55 mile scenic ride along the South Shore.
     $20 per rider, $15 per passenger, which includes a meal at
                                           the Commercial Club at the end of the ride. 100% of the
                                           donations will go to the Esophageal Atresia Treatment
                                           Center and the Advanced Fetal Care Center at Children's
                                           Hospital Boston.

Pet Party Fundraiser 9.18.10



       Playful Paws Doggie Daycare in Malden is hosting at Pet
     Party Fundraiser on Saturday, September 18th from 11a to
     3p. There will be a rabies and micro chip clinic, raffles with
                                           great prizes, and adoptable dogs and cats. Planned
                                           activities include a $10 doggie playgroup, $7 nail trips, $20
                                           microchipping, and $12 rabies vaccinations. All proceeds
                                           will directly benefit Broken Tail Rescue, Inc, a non-profit

Shayne's Run 9.18.10



       Lance Cpl. Shayne Cabino was killed by a makeshift bomb
     while conducting operations near Karmash in 2005. He was
     a Franklin native and was just 19 years old. Help raise money
     for the Shayne M. Cabino Scholarship Fund and ride in
     Shayne's Ride. Registration begins at 11a at the American
     Legion Post #106 in Sharon on Saturday, September 18th.
     Bikes leave promptly at 1p. riders are $20, passengers are

2nd Annual Ride For Barton 9.19.10



       The 2nd annual Ride for Barton will take placeSunday, Sept
     19th. The police escorted ride will begin at the Central MA
     Safety Council located in West Boylston, MA and end at Camp
     Joslin in Charlton, MA. Registration begins at 10a and the ride
                                           starts at 12n. There is a mandatory donation of $25 which
                                           includes a t-shirt, food, raffles, prizes, and great music.
                                           Passengers and non-riders are $10. All proceeds from the event
                                           to to the Camper-ship Fund, which supports summer camp
                                           programs for boys and girls with diabetes. For more information

Boston Say It With Flowers 9.22.10



       On Wednesday, September 22nd, Shonda Shilling, wife of
     Curt Schilling, and Dawn Timlin, wife for Mike Timlin, will
     host the 6th Annual “Say It With Flowers” event to benefit the
     ALS Association Massachusetts Chapter at Gillette Stadium
     in Foxboro. The event will give guests the opportunity to make
                                           floral arrangements with the help of international award
                                           winning floral designer, Faith Cass. There will also be a wine
                                           reception, silent and live auctions, and a luncheon. Tickets
                                           are $250 per person or $350 for a VIP tickets, which include          
                                           preferred seating and a tour of Gillette Stadium. Tickets are

Blackstone Valley Music Festival 9.25.10



      The Blackstone Valley Music Festival will take place on
     Saturday September 25th at The Hab in Uxbridge from 12n
     to 12m. The Festival features a Beer and Chili Fest from 12n
     to 5p. Entrance is $10, kids under 15 are free. Some of the
     proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. For more

Kick'n Cancer 9.25.10



      Help raise money for the American Cancer Society and
     come out for the Kick’n Cancer Summer Wrap-Up on
     Saturday, September 25th. You can ride in the motorcycle
     run leaving American Harley Davidson in Leominster at
     10a, participate in the Kids Care Too Walk for a Cure along
     the Assabet River Trail from Marlboro to Hudson, or come
     out for the Cruizin’ for Cancer Car and Motorcycle show.
     This all day event includes live entertainment, food, petting

Hot Rods for Hounds 10.2.10



     Join the Worcester Animal Rescue League at Hot Rods for Hounds
     on Saturday, October 2th from 11a to 3p. It will be a day of classic
     cars to benefit the pets at the Worcester Animal Rescue League.
     Spectator admission is free. If you would to register a car the cost
                                                        is $15, motorcycles are $10. The Worcester Animal and Rescue

2nd Annual VLM Family Fun Day and Run 11.08.10



     In the spirit of Homes for Our Troops commitment to Veterans
