Jared Ogden, former Navy SEAL, Team Military member of Nat Geo's Ultimate Survival Alaska, and founder of the Phoenix Patriot Foundation will be calling in on Wednesday January 15th.

Details on Jared:

Jared Ogden graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science. Following his commission, he immediately deployed aboard the USS BELLEAU WOOD to the Northern Arabian Gulf. In 2007, he volunteered to attend Basic Underwater Demolition / SEAL Training. Upon completion of this training, he became a Navy SEAL in June 2008. During his second deployment to Afghanistan as a SEAL Officer, Jared’s teammate and friend was severely injured by an IED resulting in the amputation of both his legs and severe internal injuries. Upon Jared’s return from Afghanistan in the spring of 2010, he visited Walter Reed Army Medical Center and was inspired and compelled to begin an organization to help injured veterans find new meaning and passion in their lives. Jared is the founder / CEO of Phoenix Patriot Foundation (PPF). Now a former Navy SEAL, he has extensive water training in areas of operating various types of water craft, diving operations, and is a certified Rescue Water Craft Operator. Jared is 33, and Honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy after serving approximately 8 years U.S. Navy SWO and SEAL warfare qualifications.
