Some Images From Last Night's Stone Sour Show

Stone Sour delivered a balls out Rock Show last night at the House Of Blues in Boston.  Corey Taylor presented more evidence of being one of the best frontmen on the road today.  The band was wound up tight and all smiles as Taylor prowled the stage making sure everybody got a good dose of his charm and rage.  They covered some material from the 'House Of Gold And Bone' albums and also reached back through their catalog pulling out gems like "Inhale", "Made Of Scars", and their big make out hit "Bother".  Taylor has that amazing ability to make a large hall like the House Of Blues seem like a garage party, constantly engaging the crowd and making them part of the show by letting them take a chorus here and there.  Pop Evil did a great job tenderizing the crowd and the evening's opening band, Stolen Babies, were beautifully weird.  They were reminiscent of System Of A Down at times, mixing Eastern European sounds with slashing guitar while singer Dominique Lenore Persi screamed her head off while furiously pumping an accordion. It was a good sweaty night all around.
