The New Nine Inch Nails Video Comes With A Seizure Warning

June 28, 2013

For the video for "Came Back Haunted" Trent Reznor tapped his friend David Lynch because..well..if you want weird and disturbing, he's the Master. He first worked with Lynch for the Lost Highway Soundtrack back in 1997. The Director of Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, and Eraserhead mixes eerie images of a ballerina with a wobbly shot that gives Reznor's head a Jell-O like quality.

The video starts with a Warning for people with Photosensitive Epilepsy.  I'm not familiar with that condition, but I did get a little nauseous watching it and found myself holding on to my chair.  No..I was sober.

"Came Back Haunted" will be on the new Nine Inch Nails album, Hesitation Marks which comes out on September 3.
