Check Out Nirvana On A Good Night
"We were really on that night. If you listen to the shows back then, it was just so obvious how into it Kurt was." That's what former Nirvana guitarist Pat Smear told Rolling Stone back in August about the bands 1993 MTV Live And Loud show in their hometown of Seattle.
Now that show, as well as a myriad of other bonus material will be released September 24 as part of the super deluxe edition of the 'In Utero' 20th Anniversary Re-Issue. It will also be available as a stand alone DVD. The clip below is taken from that show. The heavy groove the band lays out is awesome and they definitely look like they're having fun. Dave Grohl is beating his drums into submission and Krist Novoselic is doing the tall-man-lanky-dance. Kurt Cobain looks totally engaged and ready to pounce for the kill. Can't wait to see the whole show. I only saw Nirvana once at The College Of William And Mary in Virginia on their In Utero tour. The sound was bad and there seemed to be tension on stage. So I'm looking forward to seeing them on a good night from that era.
