What's Wrong With This Country Reason #946

So, I'm standing outside my local Pizza joint waiting for my pie and I see a guy walking on the other side of the street with two dogs.  One small mix breed on a leash and a slightly larger dog that looks like a Rottweiler mix not on a leash.  Both dogs seemed to be well behaved and staying close to their master's heels.  A middle aged helmeted man riding a bicycle comes up along side the dog walker and seems to have trouble maintaining his balance and swings the bike up over his head with his feet still in the toe clips.  I don't know the man but he seems like a novice cyclist trying to get some exercise judging by his portly build.  The dog walker sees the cyclist go down and immediately stops and asks if he is ok.  The cyclist responds with, "Yeah well, it's cuz' your dog is not on a leash."  From what I witnessed, the unleashed dog wasn't anywhere near the cyclist and remained by his owner's side while the two argued about who was at fault for the cyclist's mishap.  The exchange ended with the dog walker shrugging and continuing on his way while the cyclist got back on his bike and rode away while yelling something about calling animal control.  The way I witnessed it, this fat ass lost his balance and blamed the first person he saw(or dog).  When in reality he had no one else to blame but himself.  It seems to me this is what America is best at right now.  Finger pointing.  The Republicans point their fingers at Democrats and blame them for the ills of the nation and vice-verse.  The House points their collective stinky finger at the Senate.  The President points his finger at Congress.  Fingers get pointed at the previous administration.  The poor point at the rich.  The blacks point at the whites.  The Tea Party points at immigrants.  Someone spills hot coffee and burns themselves and points their finger at McDonald's.  While we are all busy pointing fingers no one is moving forward and coming up with solutions.  Maybe because they're to worried about riding the blame game to keep their jobs.  We tend to vote for the candidates that most reflect our beliefs.  We get the government we deserve.
