--On Saturday morning, in Taylorville, Illinois, 12 skydivers went up in a small plane. All 12 of them jumped out and started parachuting gently back down. THEN THE PLANE CRASHED.
--The pilot was 30-year-old Brandon Sparrow of Augusta, Illinois. Something went wrong with the plane, he lost control, and crashed in the middle of a neighborhood.
--Sadly, he died in the crash . . . none of the skydivers were injured. They all got out JUST before the crash.
--The FAA is investigating the cause of the crash. They believe Brandon actually steered the plane as it was going down to avoid hitting any houses which could've killed anyone inside.
--There have been 11 skydiving fatalities reported in the U.S. so far this year.
