Tattoo Removal is Skyrocketing . . . Because People Want to Get Jobs

Tattoo removal has gone up 32% in the past year . . . supposedly because people realized tattoos can make it harder to get JOBS.  In a survey of people who've had tattoos removed, 40% said it was for employment reasons.  18% said it's because their tattoo was their ex's name.

The tattoo craze may have finally hit its peak.  Because suddenly, a lot of people are realizing the tribal pattern tattooed on their neck might hurt their career as a claims adjuster.

FACT: In the past year, tattoo removal procedures in the U.S. are up a massive 32%.

A new survey asked 700 people who had tattoos removed last year WHY they did it . . . and yes, job reasons was the number one answer at 40%.

18% of people said they had their tattoo removed because it was their ex's name
16% removed it after a change in beliefs
11% said they were unhappy with their tattoo or didn't like it anymore

Do you have tatoos? Would you remove them? DO you have a tattoo that you regret getting? Reply below.

Getting tattoo's these days
if you are expecting to get a job were tattoos are not permitted you can't get them in places that show, Hence not your neck or hands, anything under your shirt would be fine, im sure the people who get them removed it"s only the ones the need to in order to work

Think before you Ink...
My tattoos means something to me. I was sure of them when I got them and I remain sure of them today. They will not go out of style, lose meaning, or remind me of anyone I will one day wish to forget. And if someone won't hire me because I have them, then I would never want to work for them to begin with. This is my ink, and it is now a part of me. Take me for who I am or not at all.

Tatted Teacher
I have three tattoos and work in education. To be honest...I want another tattoo and would not want to remove mine. However, I can easily hide all of mine, keeping them out of view of students, parents and administrators. I often have students ask me about my thoughts on tattoos, and I always give them a number of things to consider prior to doing it: 1) tatts are permanent, sure they can be removed but the procedure is costly and often more painful than getting it in the first place so be sure you really want it for a good reason; 2) don't tatt names unless in memory of a loved one who has passed, you may have a change of heart about the person and imagine having to explain to your future spouse who another woman is that is tatted on your body; 3) think about where you will get it, skin sags as you get old; and most importantly, 4) make sure you can hide it from employers in case they don't allow them plus some employers will definitely be biased against hiring you if they see ink in an interview. Think long and hard before getting tattoos and if you still feel strongly enough about wanting one...go for it. But don't do it because it's the current fad.

It's not always the case...
I have a sleeve and a large tattoo on the opposite forearm. I have a great job that pays well in the tech industry. If you have a good moral character and a resume to match many places will look past the tattoo's...

how much is tattoo removal
Today, lasers are the most common method of tattoo removal. They work by targeting tattoo fading the ink with pulses of highly concentrated light that break the ink into tiny fragments, which are then cleared away the your own immune system. http://www.tattooremovalassociation.com
