I am subjected to a lot of "verbal violence" during the show because of my undying love for the music of Bruce Springsteen. However, as you know if you listen to the show, I am not alone when it comes to the musical crush I have on the Boss. Ken Casey of the Dropkick Murphy's once famously sent me a text saying he was "gay for Bruce" (which he took immense amounts of heat for during last year's St. Patrick's day live broadcast at the Hard Rock). Well, I hate to admit it, but Ken has one upped me. After his incredible performance during half-time at the Superbowl, Bruce was asked who his favorite bands were. And yes...he mentioned Dropkick Murphy's. Ken says "it's a pretty cool honor. Bruce came with his son to our Roseland Ballroom show in New York last year but I never expected him to say we were one of his favorites." Kenny says there are still tickets available for the show on the 12th and the one on the 16th, so go to Ticketmaster and get tix. "And...we are working on a Springsteen cover for the St. Patrick's Day shows" he told me" and it's one of your favorite songs". I can't wait!
What a complete douche Chris Brown is for beating up Rhianna. First of all, she is incredibly talented...and super hot... and now she will, hopefully, want nothing to do with him. And he is all done career-wise. You can't beat a woman and get away with it, unless it's 1959 and you're Jerry Lee Lewis. Or it's 1967 and you're Ike Turner. And no one should. The scum of the earth hit women and deserve to rot in prison The best part of this story is that Chris Brown, obviously not quite rich enough to own a luxury automobile, had rented a Lamborghini for Grammy weekend. It was 2 grand a day. And now it sits in the Police impound lot...at 2 grand a day! What a double-douche. Here's hoping that Jay-zee, who discovered the lovely Rhianni, has someone on his payroll teach Mr. Brown a lesson about hitting women.
I've mentioned this before but how come when George Bush tried to open a locked door after a meeting in China, he was lampooned by the mainstream media as a bufoon, but when Barack Obama makes a similar mistake, nary a word is uttered by the national media taint lickers? Check out the "dream weaver" banging his head on Air Force One. I am sure someone lost their job over that one. Or maybe he is just trying to feel the pain of the rest of us, banging our head on head on the table, when he makes a disasterous decision like closing Guantanimo. Maybe they will order a brand new plane, with a bigger door. Nothing is too good for the President of the World. Watch the video »
Hope you guys will come out on Friday night for the Great Guinness toast. We will be at Paddy O's in Faneuil Hall Friday night at 9 for our first ever "Guinness Toast and Roast". Come out and make fun of the show, and join LB in getting sloppy. The whole morning show will be there.
Can't believe you and LB (especially LB) watched the dopey Grammy's when SpikeTV was running a crap-load of great fights on UFC Fight Night. I can see Spaz doing that, and of course Danielle. You might even say you *had* to watch it for the sake of theshow, but LB? We expect more out of our tough guys. Just kidding, LB. You're the Ray Berries, man :)

This morning you played the clip about Cher not understanding how anyone can be a republican. What a great clip!
A democrat is a republican who does not get it.

Greg,
If the superbowl was one of Bruces "incredible performances" i wonder what an average performance would look like. Instead of a really funny nut smashing slide into the camera, would he just slide off the stage? Throwing that guitar around his necklooks like its starting to hurt too.

Because Bush's locked-door incident was at a press conference in front of.... ready for it.... the press. And it was funny because of the good-natured way Bush handled it. People loved it -just like the way they loved the show-throwing incident. By the way, Obama's head-bonk was featured on MSNBC's '1600 Pennsylvania Avenue' with Dan Abrams last night.
Let go of your republican paranoia.

People loved it, all right. That's why Left-wing trolls like Keith Olberman ripped Bush as a "moron" for not being able to figure out a locked door. And Chris Matthews. And John Daily. And Bill Maher. And the nice folks at CNN. And Katie Couric. And Matt Lauer. Oh and those nice bipartisan ladies on The View. And the list goes on. They loved it because it was an opportunity for them to make Bush look like an imbecile. But they went mighty soft on Obama's string of gaffes. They aren't even covering the glaring themostat-gate scandal. Yeah, real paranoia, dude.

i watched the video a few times and i don't even think he really hit his head. there is no back lash. he just ducks it down and walks in. so not news worthy. if this is the worst they can come up with, then bring it on!
