Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder has always made it known he was a Tom Petty Fan over the years. Occasionally he'll break out "I Won't Back Down" during a solo gig or with Pearl Jam(check out the straight and drunk version on "Live At The Gorge"). Eddie joined Tom and the Heartbreakers for a version of the Hard Promises classic, "The Waiting" at The Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam this past Sunday. Eddie is in good voice but it seems like the guys were enjoying some of the finer offerings of the Dutch Capital with the "Smokey" breakdown in the middle. Well, you know what they say, "When in Amsterdam do as the Dutch do..and ..eat a lot of cheese." I may have that wrong.
