Compact Disc Two presents the original Rage Against the Machine demo tape.  Recorded in 1991 and sold for $5 at the merch table at early Rage shows, the tape achieved mythical word-of-mouth status amongst music fans while helping to seal the band’s deal with Epic Records.  The 20th anniversary releases of Rage Against the Machine – XX marks the first time the entire RATM demo tapes have seen a full official release.

DVD #1 included in the Deluxe Box Set features Rage Against the Machine’s historic free concert in Finsbury Park on June 2010, performed as a thank-you to UK fans for making “Killing in the Name” the UK’s Number One Single during Christmas week 2009. Also included is the band’s groundbreaking music videos plus live concert performance clips.

DVD#2 takes you back to the release of Rage’s debut album focusing on live performance from 1991-1994 which features the full set of  RATM’s first public performance as well as various live, rare clips.

Axl Rose stepped out of his house, and showed up ON TIME for a sit down interview with Jimmy Kimmel last night. He talked about his tardiness, voting for Obama, Halloween decorations, dressing up like corn with corn rows, and how members of G'N'R used to work at Tower Records on Sunset where Axl was a manager. Listen to the NEW Deftones!
My friend Laurie from Warner Brothers just came in to play me the new Deftones song, "Tempest". It's the first single from their  new album  called "Koi No Yokan", which will hit stores on November 13.  The only translation that I could find for the title of the album is this: "Japanese for the sense upon first meeting a person that the two of you are going to fall into love." Not sure if that's right, but I like it!

The radio edit is shorter than this version, but check it out and let me know what you think!

More 'behind the scenes' video from the Aerosmith recording studio!
The guys from Aerosmith have been hard at work on their new album, Music From Another Dimension for what seems like forever. It's their 15th studio album, and the first featuring original material since 2001. There is a lot riding on this album, to say the least. The date was pushed back to November 6, 2012 after the GI Joe movie was postponed until 2013. Aerosmith was supposed to be a huge part of the marketing for the film. The good news is, it gave the Bad Boys from Boston more time to perfect the new music... and that's exactly what they have been doing in the studio. Check out the first 3 episodes of the behind the scenes making of the new album.
