I have a few MOLES in place that fill me in on the stuff that I'm 'not supposed to know'! The bands/labels and managers all know, if they tell me... I'll tell you!So, when I want the dirt... I have to dig.As I reported to you a few weeks ago, my MOLE in the AIC camp told me that the album, due in September, is going to be AMAZING! My MOLE heard a few songs already! They are very heavy, and they are not going to disappoint the true AIC fans!

William DuVall is the new lead singer of AIC, and I hear he fits right in, and is lending his talents to some writing on this album!The biggest piece of gossip comes in the form of a 'tribute' song written and sung by Jerry Cantrell and dedicated to fallen lead singer Layne Staley. Jerry played the song for friend... Elton John (who knew THEY were friends?) and Elton asked if he could perform on the song...So, in September, if my MOLE is right... Elton John will be featured on the new AIC album! There may be some other guest appearances as well!I just had my MOLE'S information corroborated by a credible source at the label, who heard 'something' about this in a meeting, but wasn't willing to go on 'the record'!I'll let you know if I hear anything else... I, like most people, visited my Mom on sunday for Mother's Day! We (my sister, Mom &  I) had lunch, got caught up, helped her with some things around the house... and tried to introduce my Mom to facebook. HA! She's just not understanding that at all! Blogs, twitter, facebook, MySpace... none of it!

So we used the computer time to scan some pictures that she's had in shoe boxes for our entire lives... The goal is, eventually, to have all of those pictures sorted, scanned, and saved... Her storage methods are... let's just say... a little 'outdated'! :)

The guys were really nice, down to earth, and funny as hell!
Matt, Brad and Lincoln came into the studio, Jared and Daniel got to sleep late! The first thing they noticed was Hillman's cheat sheet for the mantown questions. It's very funny to hear a guy from Bowling Green, Kentucky talk about 'wagner power painter'!
During the second song, the one that will be exclusive on www.waaf.com since it did not air... Matt channeled Kurt Cobain, it was kind of freaky!
