Boston Mayor Menino has said he will make it very difficult for Chik Fil-A to open up a restaurant in the City Of Boston because of President Dan Cathy's stance on Gay Marriage and the company's donations to organizations against it. As much as I agree that Marriage is a Human Right and not an issue to be voted on, I have to tell the Mayor to shut his defective mouth. As far as I know, Chik Fil-A doesn't ban Gay people from their restaurants. As far as hiring Homosexuals, I don't know. Maybe someone could enlighten me on that. Either way, I'm not giving them my money because I know where it goes. Same goes for Urban Outfitters. We have that choice. Menino using his powers to block a legitimate business because he doesn't agree with the Company's Philosophy is abuse of power. Therefore making himself just as bad as the people he's against. Let the Jesus Chicken People build their Church Of Cholesterol and then let the PEOPLE decide.
Of course, that now makes your decision about where to eat lunch become a moral dilemma. Hey, it's not like Jesus Chicken has a monopoly on delicious fried chicken sandwiches. There's always the KFC Double Down, which I think is way better than the Lord's Chicken. They don't even use bread! Cane's Chicken Sandwich is EPIC! And they give you that sauce that you would steal your Mom's Blu Ray player for. In fact, Cane's Chicken Sandwich with The Sauce is so good...I'd marry it. What about that Dan Cathy? What if someone loved your Holy Chicken Sandwich sooooo much, they wanted to spend the rest of their life(or the American Average of 5 years) with it? Would you not allow that? You'd be giving up a great PR Event.
