First off, Cinco De Mayo is NOT Mexican Independence Day. It actually commemorates the Battle Of Puebla where the Mexican Army, defying great odds, defeated the French. Mexican Independence day is actually on September 16th. But I'm sure that won't stop you from doing a few Tequila shots. Which is what they don't do in Mexico. They don't even celebrate Cinco De Mayo there. Again, that won't stop us from drinking like tourists. Just don't do it like this kid:
