If we can have Thirsty Thursday, why not MariMonday? I think it's a great idea and I'm sober.(for now) I have always considered Marijuana to be no different than alcohol. Whether you're Drinking a 12 pack or smoking a joint, you're getting altered. There's plenty of stats out there about deaths related to drinking, tobacco, pot, driving, eating bacon, that I'm not getting into here. Check out these sources if you are so inclined:

There's plenty of info out there for and against legalization. There are two bills being proposed to the Massachusetts State Legislature:

Let your Rep and Senator know how you feel either way. But MariMonday is to celebrate the positive aspects of Marijuana. So I'd like to share this news report from Fresno, California. While Weed is indeed fun, it does cause severe stupidity in some. That's why you shouldn't drive, operate heavy machinery, or try to gamble while under the influence:

It is sad that Alcohol is legal, and marijuana is not. I don't even need to go to a website to know that pot has caused signifacantly less death's than booze. Although I like booze, alot, it just isn't the same without weed.
It has become clear to me over the last 2 or 3 year's that the country is starting to open up to a controlled legalization. It will probably take a long time but I belive I may see it before my day comes. Hopefully soon people with start to relize that smoking a bowl and then watching The Wall is not going to hurt anyone. It is acctually quite f#*%g awesome.
