While playing at the Global Citizen Festival this past Saturday head Foo Dave Grohl announced, "Without making a big deal out of it, we don't have any shows after this. This is it, man. This is the show where we come out and we play as many songs as we can in a short period of time, because, honestly, I don't know when we're gonna do it again and this is the perfect place to do it, right now, tonight.". You can also see it in the video for "Learning To Fly" below.
Grohl has been working on a documentary on the legendary Sound City Studios where his former band, Nirvana, recorded Nevermind. The film will also be accompanied by a soundtrack with a varied roster of guests including Tom Petty, members of Ratt and REO Speedwagon, and Trent Reznor. He has also been working on music with former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic. There also have been rumors of a project with Jimmy Page and Sammy Hagar. Again, those are RUMORS.
