Well. "Rocks" may not be the proper word for an album dominated by the diminutive instrument. The album will have the cryptic title of "Ukulele songs" and will be out on May 31st. One song called "Longing To Belong" will be available digitally on 3/22. Listen to it here. It also features a backing band so it looks like the whole album won't be just Eddie and Uk(Youk...YOUUUUUUK!) or some kind of Ry Cooder type of anthropological study of traditional Hawaiian folk tales. Many of the songs Eddie has already performed live with Pearl Jam or on his solo tour. You might already have a few on some bootlegs if you're a "Ten Club" member. He does rework "Can't Keep" from PJ's "Riot Act" and has Cat Power joining him on one song.
