 of other Jameson agents when a lovely Irish woman named Kelly came over to say hello.  One of the Jameson ladies said, "This is Kelly, she used to be Gerry".  Of course meaning she used to do Gerry's job.  But of course in my inebriated state I instantly thought she used to be a man named Gerry.  So after the introduction all I could do was stare with my mouth open in disbelief.  I was thinking, "Holy shit, that Doctor is a genius" while checking for an Adam's Apple and gauging the size of her hands.  She was obviously puzzled by my reaction like everyone else at the table but quickly moved on.  These people work with drunks all the time so they're used to that kind of thing.  The next day I explained my reaction to Kelly and thankfully she laughed it off.  Most women probably wouldn't have taken that very well.   From the 40 ft bar we were carted off the Club Sugar where the "World's Greatest U2 Tribute Band", Rattle And Hum were playing.  As far as tribute bands go they were pretty good.  The singer was more Bono than Bono.  But at that point I needed some air and a bed so I stumbled through the streets of Dublin back to my Hotel.  After making it to my room I found myself so fatigued I actually had a hard time falling asleep.  But I soon found a remedy for that and a cure for any one's insomnia.  It's a little network called BBC 1.  5 minutes into a program about spring gardening I was dead to the world.  The should sell DVD's of their programming as sleep aids.  It worked better than Halcyon.
