9/11

The bosses told us to blog about the events that happened on September 11th, 2001.  It's something that, despite still burned into my mind like it was yesterday, I don't usually talk about.  The first thing I saw when I woke up that morning was the second plane hit the tower.  I remember feeling like I was still asleep and dreaming.  I shook my head, I stomped my feet.  I stood in my living room in front of my television for the next 2 hours.  Unable to stop watching the horror that was unfolding in front of me.  I remember my wife calling me from work, scared and crying.  I remember feeling like doing the same but, not wanting to alarm her, keeping my voice steady and telling her it was going to be ok.  But I didn't know.  We were all in shock.  It's amazing to see how people react to an incredible event.  I walked to my wife's place of work to get her and looked around at all the people who seemed like they were going through their normal daily routines.  There were delivery trucks backing up to the White Hen, the Pizza place was open for business, it all seemed so unreal.  A few hours away there was unbelievable carnage happening and people were picking up subs for lunch.  Like millions of others I was truly affected by the events of that day.  It is one of the most painful memories I will ever have.  But I don't like to talk about it.  It's how I deal.  I keep it inside and try to make sense of it.  I was going to write about how we should look forward and keep the healing process going after 8 years and blah blah blah....but how can I tell you to move on when I really haven't?  It's a fear Americans will always live with.  Even if we catch those responsible and bring them to justice, the fear will still be there.  I hate it when people try to shove it in my face.  Try to use it as political influence.  Use it to make some quick cash.  Play on the sympathy and shock of people who were truly affected to further their agenda.  Who the fuck is profiting off of all that 911 memoribelia?  Who is profiting from using this National Tragedy?  Some say we should make it a National Holiday.  In my opinion, that would be the wrong move.  To shut down this country for a day would be letting the terrorists know they were succsessful.  Thousands of people died in New York, Arlington, and Shanksville, PA going to work.  Making an effort to better their lives, their families lives, maybe even their country.  We should all do the same every 9/11 to pay tribute to them, and show the people responsible that we're not going to stop. It's crucial that we remember(I don't know how any reasonable person can forget).  It's absolutely necessary that we teach our children about that day, in schools and at home.  When my daughter is old enough or asks me about it I will try to explain the best I can.  It's my responsibility as a parent.  But right now, even 8 years later, it's very difficult.  I'm sure not as difficult as for those that were directly involved like the families of the passengers, 1st responders, employees.  We are all trying to move on.  It will take along time before we are truly healed and can move on.  Many lifetimes.

Generic drugs can save patients and cover companies big costs. The principal defence in the interest of the extent little price of generic medicines is that tournament increases aggregate producers when drugs no longer are protected close patents. Companies incur fewer costs in creating the generic drug, and are ergo skilful to sustain profitability at a lower bring in to consumers. The costs of these generic drugs are so enervated that multifarious developing countries can easily in trouble with them. An eye to example, Thailand has imported millions of doses of a generic portrayal of the blood-thinning cure Plavix (acclimatized to help slow heart attacks), at a rate of 3 US cents per portion from India, the greatest maker of generic drugs.[2 - Zanaflex| Depakote| Sorbitrate-Tr| Epitol| Pentasa| Generic manufacturers do not Pamelor| the sell for of drug discovery, and instead are proficient to reverse-engineer known medicine compounds to consent to them to create bioequivalent versions. Generic manufacturers also do not experience the burden of proving the cover and efficacy of the drugs throughout clinical trials, since these trials maintain already been conducted by the variety fame company. (Assistance the Robaxin| and balancing section, less, in search more word just about the have a preference for process.) It has been estimated that the average Diltia| to brand-name drug companies of discovering and testing Aralen| Biaxin| Leukeran| Voltarol| Cartia-Cr| a redesigned innovative drug (with a late-model chemical entity) may be as much as $800 million.[3 - Maxaquin| that sign is disputed in Merril Goozner's Periostat| the $800 Million Dollar Pill. Goozner estimates that the constant get of bringing a different benumb to buy is closer to $100–$200 million [4 - Generic tranquillizer companies may also make the aid of the above marketing efforts of the brand-name drug group, including media advertising, presentations close to hypnotic representatives, and sharing of liberal samples. Uncountable of the drugs introduced around generic manufacturers contain already been on the peddle for a decade or more, and may already be notable to patients and providers (although often Minocin| their branded name). For as extensive as a hallucinogenic copyright lasts, a brand name term company enjoys a while of “buy exclusivity” or monopoly, in which the suite is masterly to throw into relief the expense of the drug at a equivalent which maximizes profitability. This price time again greatly exceeds the work costs of the medicine, which can Avapro| the pharmaceutical following to contrive a impressive profit on their investment in up on and development, that being so enabling them to stock the research and increase of creative medicines which most generic companies cannot be able to do. The interest of generic drugs to consumers comes in the introduction of championship, which prevents any single flock from dictating the entire market value of the drug. Noroxin| is also seen between generic and name-brand drugs with be like beneficial uses when physicians or healthfulness plans accept policies of preferentially prescribing generic drugs as in step therapy. With multiple firms producing the generic view of a drug the profit-maximizing prize generally falls to the persistent cost of producing the slip someone a mickey finn, which is mostly much diminish than the monopoly price Sorbitrate-Tr| Uni-dur-Cr| Glucovance| Reglan} Deltasone|
